Join the Society

KCHS is a member-supported organization that receives no state nor federal funding. Our staff primarily comprises volunteers, and we maintain a financially sound budget. We appreciate the loyal members who value Callaway history and wish to help us collect, preserve and share that history.

Memberships help fund our ongoing work at the Research Center, which includes preserving and cataloging family and county photos and documents, maintaining court records, obituary files, cemetery records and other genealogical files. They also allow us to showcase our Callaway history at the museum and gift shop as well as maintain our collections.

Member benefits

All members receive:

1. Advance notice for all KCHS events and programs.

2. Newsletter listing: new members listed in the first newsletter after joining; Silver, Gold, and Platinum Level members listed in each newsletter.

3. Discounts on most items in the KCHS Museum Gift Shop.

4. Dues are tax deductible to the extent provided by law and contribute to the financial health of KCHS.

We offer membership levels for both individuals/families and businesses/corporations. We value your support and partnership immensely.

Membership Level and Gift

CALLAWEGIAN SOCIETY

Silver Level ($100) – $20 voucher for research/genealogy research

Gold Level ($250) – $50 voucher for research/genealogy research

Platinum Level ($500) – $100 voucher for research/genealogy research

Dues are tax-deductible less the value of goods and services provided to you as listed above. KCHS is a 501(c)(3) charity organization.
