The Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society’s Research Center opened in June 2019. The Center is located at 106 East 4th Street at the corner of 4th and Ravine Streets. The reason for the new facility, besides the needed work area and storage, was to better organize the resources we have collected over the years to share our rich heritage with others. The Research Center houses our photographic archives and various sources for those doing family genealogy.
The Museum hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Research Center is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays by appointment only. Both facilities are closed from Christmas to the first Tuesday in February.
If you are wanting us to do research for you, our current fee cost is $10 for a preliminary search which can be followed by more in-depth time ($20/hour) and copies are $0.25/page. Fees may be paid by check or credit card. Or thru Pay Pal Invoicing.
